These terms apply when you use the Sportbeam apps, your account at account.sportbeam.app and this website. By creating an account or using the apps you agree to them. Sportbeam is operated by[legal entity name and address to be added] ("we", "us").
What Sportbeam is
Sportbeam is a sports schedule and video player. It shows fixtures for the leagues, teams and players you follow, and plays them from a TV subscription you already have with a third-party provider.Sportbeam does not provide, sell, host or link to any channels, streams or other content.
Your subscription and your content
- You're responsible for the playlists you add, and for having the right to watch the content they give you access to.
- Only use Sportbeam with services you're legally entitled to use. Don't use Sportbeam to access content without the rights holder's permission.
- We aren't responsible for your provider's service, including what it shows, whether it works, or what it charges.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Give us an email address you can receive sign-in codes and receipts at.
- You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@sportbeam.app.
Plans and payment
- Sportbeam Free has limits on playlists, follows and devices, as shown on the pricing page. Sportbeam Pro removes them and adds the Pro features listed there.
- New accounts get 7 days of Pro free, without a card. When the trial ends, the account moves to Free unless you buy Pro.
- Monthly and yearly Pro renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Lifetime is a one-time payment for Pro on your account for as long as we operate Sportbeam. It is not transferable.
- Prices include or exclude tax as shown at checkout. Purchases are handled by our payment providers (Stripe on the web, Google Play in the Android app).
- Refunds: [refund policy to be confirmed]. Purchases made through Google Play follow Google Play's refund rules.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Sportbeam. In particular, don't:
- use it to infringe anyone's copyright or other rights;
- try to get around plan limits, reverse engineer the apps beyond what the law allows, or interfere with our servers;
- share your account with people outside your household or resell access to it.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Sports data
Fixtures, times and live status come from third-party sports data sources. We work to keep them accurate, but games move and data can be wrong or late, so we can't guarantee it.
Changes and availability
We keep improving Sportbeam, so features may change. We'll give notice in the app or by email before changes to these terms that affect you. If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using Sportbeam and close your account.
Liability
Sportbeam is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
